LVMH
The company's interim target is to reduce emissions by 50% relative to 2019 emissions by 2026. Net Zero Tracker
By 2030, they aim to reduce and/or avoid by 55% GHG emissions linked to Scope 3 (raw materials and transport) per unit of added value. Net Zero Tracker
An interesting fact about their environmental policy is that they have started to experiment with various offsetting measures, integrating carbon credits once reduction targets have been …"

Sector Benchmark
Note: Latest GHG and revenue data (based on tradingview.com) are used to calculate GHG emissions intensity by sector. The color scale of each bubble depends on the GHG intensity (GHG emissions per 1 million USD revenue). Sectors follow the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) that organize companies based on their primary business activities. The 11 sectors are : Information Technology, Health Care, Financials, Consumer Discretionary, Communication Services, Industrials, Consumer Staples, Energy, Utilities, Real Estate, and Materials.
LVMH belongs to the sector Consumer Discretionary.

Targets Set : 1.5°C by 2026 | No target | Yes |
LVMH commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 50% by 2026 from a 2019 base year.* LVMH also commits to increase annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 36% in 2019 to 100% by 2026. LVMH further commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions 55% per million € value added by 2030 from a 2019 base year. *The target boundary includes biogenic emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks

Plans for carbon dioxide removal (CDR) | Not Specified |
Additional notes: The Maisons are beginning to experiment with various offsetting measures. Until recently, LVMH had sought to avoid such solutions to maximize the leverage achieved through pure reduction. The Net Zero standard set by the SBTi integrates carbon credits, once reduction targets have been met.
